Nerd Night

April 6 – Build and Brew – 6PM – 8PM

Adults take over the MESS Hall! Join your friends to build big, build strong, and build creative. Challenge others with your engineering skills. And like real engineers, you can buy extra time or materials with MESS Hall “build bucks”. Or even try greasing the palms of the inspectors….

18+ Admission is $20 and includes refreshments and some building activities. Entering teams for special challenges or “build bucks” are extra. Register by April 3 for bonus “build bucks”.

Curiosity Day

April 14  Robotics – 1PM – 4PM

In conjunction with National Robotics Week. What is robotics? It is a little bit of physics, a little bit of computer programming, a bunch of engineering, some biology, some math, and a whole lot of perseverance! Come explore how all of these fields contribute to today’s robots.
Activities are suitable for a variety of ages and will be available from 1 PM – 4 PM. Included with admission.

Saturday Night Science

April 28 – Solar System – 6PM – 8PM

What are the celestial bodies in our neighborhood, the ones that we see each day (or so)? Investigate our solar system and how scientists explore space during this special evening event.
Free for members, $8 for nonmembers.
