Accessibility | Pensacola MESS Hall

The Pensacola MESS Hall is committed to making our exhibits, programs, and services accessible to everyone, including those with special needs. We have a designated accessible parking space and a nearby ramp. Unfortunately, the museum main entrance is up steps, but there is a doorbell at the top of the ramp. All bathrooms are unisex and accommodate companions and wheelchairs. Licensed guide and service dogs are welcome in the facility. Seating is available throughout the facility.

Please let our staff know if there are any ways they can help make your visit as fulfilling as possible.

For families with individuals sensitive to crowds and noise, we recommend visiting on weekday afternoons during the school year. Attendance is usually low, and the museum environment is more calm.

The MESS Hall works to reach an economically diverse audience with our programming. Special grants are occasionally available to schools to programs. Sign up for our teachers newsletter to learn about opportunities as they are announced.

The MESS Hall is occasionally able to provide reduced price or free outreach activities for community events. Let us know about your event for evaluation. We also provide free six month passes for organization fundraising events.

If price is an obstacle for your family visit, you can check out a day pass from the West Florida Public Library (library card required).
