Engineering – Saturday, February 17
Celebrate National Engineering Week during February’s Curiosity Day. Build bigger, taller, and better through a variety of special activities and demonstrations. Activities are suitable for a variety of ages and will be available from 1 PM – 4 PM. Included with admission.
Young learners and their caregivers will have the opportunity to explore new topics each month in an age-appropriate activity. Each session will begin with a story, and participants will then explore the topic with hands on materials. Participation in Saturday Tinker Tots includes admission to the museum, though caregivers and other family members will need to pay if the family chooses to explore the museum after the program.
Ages 3-K. 9 AM – 9:45 AM. $5.60/$7 member/nonmember. Preregistration is required.
February 12 & 24 – Building Bridges
The MESS Hall offers monthly workshops for home school students. The classes are divided by age group, and each month is a different theme.

What is Curiosity Club?
Teens who volunteer with us as part of Curiosity Club improve their communication and interpersonal skills, they’ll get familiar, hands-on experience in a wide range of math, engineering, and science topic. We provide workshops to enrich their experience as a volunteer and science communicator; Each workshop begins with skills development, then a topical discussions with a professional in the field, lunch, and ends with fun team exercises.

Feb 10: Interaction of people with a space/location. Speaker subject: Architecture
March 3: Minute science, communicating concepts in a short amount of time. Speaker subject: Journalism.
April 7: Branding yourself, Social Media v Resume. Speaker subject: Robotics
