Space Week - July 19-25

Honor the anniversary of the first moon landing. Investigate our cosmic neighborhood and learn the science of space.

Workshops (pre-registration recommended)

Rover workshop – July 21 – 2 pm
Build your own vehicle for traversing planetary surfaces. Included with admission. Recommended ages 8 and up.
Tinker Tots – July 22 – 9-9:45 am
Young learners and their caregivers use the force of gravity to create craters on the “lunar” surface. Ages 3 – kindergarten. $4/$5 member/nonmember.
Constellations – July 23 – 2 pm
The constellations are more than meets the eye. Build models of the constellations that show the relationship of the stars while hearing the constellation myths. Included with admission. Recommended ages 8 and up.
